Depot Byron Bay
Located on Centennial Circuit in Byron Bay, this series of small, multi-purpose industrial units range in size from 150-300sqm. Each unit reflects high-quality architectural design with flexibility for multiple functions and has attracted retail, residential and commercial tenants.
The awkward site shape required efficient planning and a set of architectural elements which could be manipulated based on the unit type. This allowed each unit type to be designed based on its function, reducing the repetition of the façade. The large building setbacks to the street frontages enabled the creation of outdoor and landscaped areas.
SBA was engaged to provide initial planning, design and complying development certificate documentation, before passing it onto the client for construction. A well executed development that has been well received by the client.
